![]() I don’t know a single demon hunter who enjoys playing mana rift, and I don’t know a single person who enjoys playing against it. Primary concern is removing an ability from the game that doesn’t belong, and that no one wants. The class does need more buttons, but that’s another topic. I don’t know what a Savix is, and I’m not sure in what context this video took place. Having the MS be its own effect rather than baked into another spell. I honestly think the class needs more buttons, Hopefully its just tuning but i watched a savix video.Ī DH went up ~ 50 % hp from one eye beam channel during meta. Please, just give us a viable MS application, and take mana rift out of the game. However, it’s tied to fel rush, which is terrible design. We’ve been given MS, which I think is great. I want to stun things because I want to kill them. I don’t like stunning things so I can mana burn them. A demon hunter’s role should be creating pressure on the healer by doing as much damage as possible, not artificially sapping its mana. While the above two are at least getting nerfed, this is carrying over to Shadowlands. In my opinion, the 100% dodge mechanic should have been baked into a new short-cd defensive ability (similar to a rogue’s feint) at least this way, we aren’t rewarded with 100% dodge by pressing an offensive ability we’d be using anyways. This is somewhat fixed in shadowlands, though I don’t think blizzard handled the correction the right way. There is no reason a frequently-pressed offensive ability should have such a powerful defensive effect. The dodge is a modifier effect to our core short-cd nuke ability. However, this is predominantly fixed in shadowlands. There is no opportunity cost to healing, so it’s not good design. The three legitimately broken things about DH: ![]()
